What 50+ Ukrainian releases reveal about what actually sells

We analysed more than fifty Ukrainian theatrical films released between 2017 and 2025, examining both successful and failed projects to identify the patterns behind performance. The study covers what makes a film commercially viable in the local context, how revenue is distributed among market players, which secondary income streams are available to producers, and which cost categories carry real savings. The client decided to move into theatrical production.
